I welcome the President’s decision today to hold Iran accountable and put a firm end to the Obama administration’s policy of accommodation and concessions toward the dangerous regime in Tehran. The newly announced sanctions, which target entities affiliated with Iran’s missile program, are the proper response to Iran’s provocative missile test this past weekend. President Trump was right to put Iran ‘on notice’—threats to our national security, and that of our allies in the region, will not go unanswered.
