Interns in my office perform public service assisting constituents of New Jersey's 4th Congressional District.
As part of the pursuit of educational objectives, an internship in my office can provide hands-on experience in administrative and legislative support, as well as insight into the workings of the federal government. I offer a limited number of internship programs for college students and a limited number of internships for upperclassman high school students in both New Jersey and in Washington, D.C.
Internships are unpaid and candidates who are chosen for the Washington, D.C. office may be responsible for paying their travel and living expenses. However, interns in any office can seek to receive academic credit for their work. Internships are limited and subject to availability and location.
For information about applying for an internship on Capitol Hill, please contact my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 225-3765. For additional information and to apply for an internship at my Toms River or Middletown district offices, call 732-504-0567.
