Though these policies can change, in the past Presidential greetings can be requested for any of the following:
- A birthday (for persons 80 years of age or over)
- A wedding anniversary (50 years of marriage or more).
- Upon achievement of the Eagle Scout or the Girl Scout Gold Award.
