In a Special Order of Congress, the House of Representatives held a tribute to the late Congressman Bob Franks in the U.S. Capitol Building tonight, led by Congressman Chris Smith (NJ-4th), Dean of the New Jersey Delegation.

"I rise today to join my colleagues in mourning the passing of a truly remarkable man—Congressman Bob Franks—and to celebrate a life well-lived," Smith said, addressing his House colleagues.

Congressman Franks served in the House representing New Jersey’s 7^th Congressional District, from 1993-2001. He died April 9.
