Smith Guest on CSPAN Sunday ProgramHydrocephalus treatments, U.S. policy in Sudan, Somalia discussed
Congressman Chris Smith (NJ-04) was the guest on C-SPAN's national Sunday morning program, "Newsmakers" with host Greta Brawner.
The crisis in Sudan and Somalia, as well as the hopes and prospects of treatment of children in the U.S. and around the world who suffer from hydrocephalus (often called "water on the brain") with a new procedure developed by an American doctor from Boston Children's Hospital, were the topics Smith discussed with Brawner and journalists Shaun Tandon of AFP and Howard LaFranchi of The Christian Science Monitor. The Newsmakers program is available for viewing at any time via C-Span's video library. Click on: http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/300911-1.
