Cub Scout Pack 992 visited Congressman Chris Smith (NJ-04) today at the congressman's Hamilton Constituent Service Center in Mercer County, NJ.

Pack members and parents discussed numerous topics, including an array of human rights issues, politics in Washington, how federal legislation is created and turned into law, the missions at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and many other areas of discussion. As an Eagle Scout himself, Smith explained his views on public service. The pack members asked great questions and were extraordinarily well-informed.

Pack 992 is headquartered in Hamilton Square, NJ, and is led by Den Leader Tracy Kociolek.

Pictured below from the left are: Rep. Smith; Dr. Jason Briggs, Principal at St. Gregory the Great Academy; Den Leader Tracy Kociolek; Seamus Finnegan, Robbie Laverty, Arist Kociolek, Justin Pena, Heather Pena, A.J. Briggs, William Black, Quin Finnegan, John Finnegan, Rob Laverty, Assistant Den Leader Jim Black, and Angel Pena (kneeling at front). As the meeting transpired on March 17, 2018, St. Patrick's Day, many of the scouts wore green.
