Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ), Co-Chair of the Israel Allies Caucus, today called on President Biden to reverse course and stop withholding critical support for Israel so the US ally can defend itself from Hamas and its state sponsors:

            “Rather than ensure our ally is able to defend itself and defeat Hamas, President Biden is withholding critical support at a moment when Israel is negotiating the release of American and Israeli hostages.

            President Biden’s dangerous ultimatum and military rupture between Israel and the US has encouraged Iran and its terrorist clients throughout the Middle East to renew their attack on Israel.

            By making concession to Israel’s enemies around the world, Biden is fueling the flames for more violence in the region and antisemitic, pro-Hamas protests in our own country. He should reverse course immediately.”
