Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Africa Subcommittee, sat down with host Laolu Akande on Channels Television’s “Inside Sources with Laolu Akande” to discuss the U.S. foreign policy implications of President Trump’s “Country of Particular Concern” redesignation of Nigeria.

             Smith also described the outcome of his meeting with a delegation of high-ranking Nigerian government officials, as well as the current state of religious persecution against Christians and moderate Muslims in Nigeria.
