“I have always supported and will continue to deeply respect our Nation’s law enforcement officers, including those serving in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), with both my voice and vote.

                “The protesters’ violent and abusive treatment of these law enforcement officers is absolutely unconscionable.

                “I categorically reject the disrespect, hatred, and malice directed at these law enforcement officers by belligerent picketers.

                “Enforcing our Nation’s immigration laws is necessary to combat human, sex, and labor trafficking; drug smuggling, including deadly fentanyl; and horrific and violent crimes committed against American citizens.”
